A Social Security representative is available at the Chamber  of Commerce every other month on the third Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The Social Security Administration office is located at 103 West First Street, Vidalia, GA  30474.  Save a trip!  Contact a Social Security representative Monday through Friday, 7 A.M. - 7 P.M. at 800-772-1213.

Age 65 or older, blind, or disabled and in need? Ask about Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

When applying for Social Security benefits, be sure to provide the following:  social security card, evidence of age, last year's W-2 Form, earnings for the current year, and proof of active military service.
