The Arts Council of Appling County exists to enhance the artistic personality of our community in a way that celebrates our uniqueness, diversity and unity.
May 1st thru June 30th, 2008- The Arts Council will reward their members with a 10% Early Bird discount on individual membership renewals.
July 15th thru 17th, 2008- The Arts Council will be conducting their annual Membership "Call" Campaign. We will reach out to current members to renew their membership and contact prospective new members.
August 24th, 2008- Membership Reception & "Gospel Jubilee" Artisan Showcase at the new Pavilion from 2pm-4pm. FREE Admission
September 13th, 2008- Ballet Magnificat is scheduled to perform their Christian Ballet performance of "The Scarlet Cord" the story of Rahab at the Fine Arts Center at 7pm. Pre-sale tickets will be available at the Chamber.
October 13-24, 2008- The Arts Council's Fall Community Art Show will be hosted at the Community Bank of Georgia.
November 30, 2008- "Heartfelt Holiday" Artisan Showcase at the new Pavilion from 2pm-4pm. FREE Admission
December 4th, 2008- Hypierion Productions and Springer Opera House (State Theatre Company of Georgia) will be presenting a theatrical performance of "A Tuna Christmas". This comical production will be performed at the Fine Arts Center at 7pm. Pre-sale tickets will be available at the Chamber.
January 17th, 2009- Back by popular demand, Jukebox Saturday Night will ROCK the stage once again at the Fine Arts Center beginning at 7pm. Don't miss this "Rockin' with the Oldies" performance. Pre-sale tickets will be available at the Chamber.
January 30th--February 1, 2009- Appling Community Theatre will present a DOUBLE FEATURE spring production of Disney's 101 Dalmatians ands Disney's Aristocats. Four performances will be presented: Jan. 30th 7pm, Jan. 31st 2pm & 7pm, and Feb. 1st 2pm only. Pre-sale tickets will be available at the Chamber.
