The Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization composed of businesses, professional, civic and educational leaders united together to fulfill the mission of the organization. Funding for this non-profit organization comes primarily from membership investments, and volunteers accomplish the Program of Work of the Chamber with the assistance of a small staff.

In 1948, the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce was established by concerned business persons in the community who saw a need for an organization which could deal with emerging challenges in the area while supporting the excellent traditions of the community. Through many years the Chamber has been a strong voice for the business community and has provided many services to its members and its entire community. Opportunities to serve the area have expanded and developed, and the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce remains a viable and valuable business organization today.

• Any business which is located in the Appling County area, so that we can be your business advocate, your information and training center, and your networking organizer.
• Any business which comes into the community to do business, because you have a strong stake in the area economy.
• Any industry which is located in the Appling County area, so that we can keep you informed with government regulations, OSHA, Drug-Free Workplace program, etc. Also, to provide the industry with a quality labor force by linking hands with adult & technical education for training.
• Organizations which serve or work in the area, so we may all work together to benefit the people here.
• Schools, so students may benefit from joint efforts to increase educational, vocational and partnership opportunities.
• Tourism-oriented, retail and service businesses, so we may recommend your establishment to the many people who write and call to seek information about the area every year.
• Retired business people, welcomed at special individual rates, because we need your expertise to remain available to the Appling County area and our business organizations.
